Sincerely Yours - A Call to Artists

You are invited to participate in the first ever Sincerely Yours, PDX postcard show. We are looking for artists to donate a 4″x6″ original work on paper for exhibition and sale.
Sincerely Yours, PDX is a collection of postcard-sized pieces that will be shown at Stumptown Cafe during the month of September 2007. The artists’ signatures will be placed on the back, and the works will be hung anonymously, concealing their identity until the piece has been purchased. Each piece will be sold for $25 with all proceeds benefiting Artists for the Arts (AFTA). Join us for the Closing Celebration on September 30th
Deadline: Saturday, August 25, 2007 (No late entries please)
- Create your piece on any 4″x6″ heavy-weight paper (we recommend watercolor paper). Mediums can include painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and mixed media. One entry per artist.
- Sign and print name on the BACK only. Be sure to specify the top.
- Enclose your work in an envelope to deliver. Include a self addressed stamped envelope if you would like unsold artwork to be returned.

All proceeds from the show and sale will go directly to support grants for art programs in the Portland Public Schools.
AFTA is a local non-profit whose mission is to ensure that arts remain an integral part of education in the Portland metro area schools.
