Artists from the Pacific Northwest are invited to submit works for inclusion
in The Kingstad Gallery’s upcoming show titled Vision & Persuasion 3/10/08 to 5/31/08

All art is a form of persuasion: from manipulating the materials and coaxing the creative process, to evoking the viewer’s response. At its best, it is a shared experience that creates a dialog of influence, comfort, resistance, and surrender. Art reflects the artist’s vision and has the power to move us out of our habitual thoughts and into a deeper perception.

About the Kingstad Gallery

Housed within the The Kingstad Center, The Kingstad Gallery is a dynamic state-of-the-art facility providing artists the opportunity to present their work in the largest privately-owned gallery space in the Portland region. Averaging over 2,500 visitors per week, The Kingstad Center, in addition to events and conferences, includes The Jester Comedy Club, Music At The Compass Rose, and Kingstad Performing Arts.
