Exhibits and Events

Artpdx.com compiles and publishes a listing of art openings in the Portland Metro area which is updated periodically throughout each month of the year. Also, selected events (which focus on art) are sometimes posted on our homepage. There is no fee to have your opening or event added to artpdx.com. For inclusion, please contact us and include the following info:

1. Title

   The title of the exhibit. If no title has been assigned, please include the artist’s name(s).

2. Tagline

   A short, descriptive blurb about the exhibit no longer than a sentence.

3. Dates & Times

   Please include the date that the exhibit is open to the public as well as the date that the exhibit closes.

4. Description

   A few paragraphs pertaining to your opening. A press release (if available) will work. If writers block seems to be getting the best of you, feel free to send an artist’s statement or a link to the artist’s website.

5. Supporting Events

   Please let us know about any events surrounding your exhibit. This includes, but is not limited to, opening and closing receptions, mid-month parties, artist lectures, etc.

6. Images

   We will include one image with each exhibit. All images are resized to 200px square, constraining proportions to the longest side.

7. Gallery / Venue Information

   Before you start typing the address, phone number, etc. for you gallery, take a look at our art gallery directory. If your gallery is already in our system, all you need to do is provide the name. If you do not find your gallery listed here, please see the gallery submission page.
